On November 3, 2026, Bridgeton's future is on the ballot. Not just one office, not just one name, but the direction of our entire city. And the choice in front of us is bigger than any single candidate.

Why the Whole Team Matters
A mayor cannot move a city forward alone. Real progress happens when the person in the mayor's office and the people on City Council are rowing in the same direction, toward the same shore.
Too many cities get stuck because leaders spend their energy fighting each other instead of fighting for their residents. Bridgeton has waited long enough. We do not have time for gridlock, finger pointing, or plans that die the moment they meet a divided council.

Meet the Team
Every name on this ticket was chosen for one reason. Each of these leaders has already given years, and in some cases decades, to the people of Bridgeton. This is not a list of newcomers making promises. It is a team of proven servants with the records to prove it.
For Mayor:
James "Curtis" Edwards, for Mayor
 A U.S. Navy veteran, healthcare executive, and public servant, Curtis has served on Bridgeton City Council since 2015 and gave nine years to the Board of Education. As President and CEO of CompleteCare Health Network, he helped grow it into one of South Jersey's leading healthcare providers, expanding access for working families, seniors, children, and underserved residents. He holds a business degree from Rowan University and an MBA, and he leads by a simple belief: "Communities grow stronger when leaders invest in people, create opportunities, and work together to solve problems."
For City Council:
Angelia "Angie" EdwardsÂ
A proud Bridgeton native and Bridgeton High School graduate, Angie founded Manna From Heaven, which has provided food and support to thousands of families across Cumberland County. She has given nearly three decades to the Bridgeton Board of Education, including multiple terms as Board President, and stays active with the NAACP, youth programs, and local boards. Her mission is simple: make sure no neighbor feels forgotten.
David Gonzalez (Re-Elect)
A U.S. Army veteran who served ten years and traveled to more than 34 countries, David has been Senior Pastor of Overcoming Victory Church for nearly four decades and now serves as Overseer of A242 Kingdom Life Center. A business owner and civil engineer, he gave 18 years to the Bridgeton Zoning Board, including eight as Chairman, and also served on the Board of Education. He and his wife Johanna have been married more than 40 years.
Marian D. King (Re-Elect)
A cybersecurity and technology executive with more than 15 years of experience across healthcare, finance, and tech, Marian brings a future-focused mind to City Council. A former Board of Education member, she also founded MyMathWays, a math coaching business helping students and adult learners build confidence. She is committed to a Bridgeton that is safe, connected, and prepared for what comes next.
Rosemary DeQuinzio (Re-Elect)
With more than 25 years in nonprofit leadership, housing programs, and community revitalization, Rosemary has spent her career helping families succeed. She serves as Chief Financial Officer of the Boys & Girls Club of Cumberland County, and on Council she champions responsible leadership, quality housing, and economic growth that lets families and businesses thrive.
Edward Bethea (Re-Elect)
President of the Bridgeton City Council and President and Chief Operating Officer of Gateway Community Action Partnership, Edward has served on Council since 2018 and brings nearly 30 years of leadership at Gateway CAP. A Rutgers University accounting graduate, he pairs financial expertise with a focus on neighborhood revitalization, affordable housing, and economic development.
